Key changes to the Virtuoso senior leadership team have been confirmed, with Cheryl Cheney Bunker and Cory Hagopian taking on new roles as part of a strategic realignment to support its ongoing international expansion.

Bunker has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Global Memberships. With more than 25 years of industry experience, Bunker joined Virtuoso in 2007 and most recently served as Vice President, Global Member Relations. The new role will see her oversee Virtuoso’s global membership strategy and engagement.

“In this pivotal role, she will look to drive sustained growth, deepen member engagement and reinforce Virtuoso’s leading brand position across all regions by upholding and evolving Virtuoso’s rigorous membership standards,” the company stated.

Meanwhile, Hagopian has also changed roles, transitioning to Senior Vice President, Global Partnerships focusing exclusively on partner engagement and sales strategy across all product categories. “This sales strategy will focus on increasing value to current global partners, while also developing new partnerships in emerging destinations,” the company said.

Both will report directly to Brad Bourland, Chief Operating Officer for Virtuoso with Bunker to remain in Windermere, Florida and Hagopian to remain based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Their new responsibilities are effective immediately.

With the luxury travel network reporting record growth across all nine regions in which it operates, the changes come as it doubles down on its goal of meeting the evolving needs of its extensive network of members and partners.

“As Virtuoso continues to expand, we are more committed than ever to ensuring the success of our members, advisors and partners, and developing the teams that will serve the needs of these diverse groups takes strong leadership,” said Bourland.
