A 14-day luxury rail journey through Vietnam and China has been added to the 2026 line-up for Golden Eagle Luxury Trains, to be partly operated by its new train, the Vietnam Express. The Treasures of the East adventure begins in Ho Chi Minh City and concludes in Shanghai, combining ancient culture, natural beauty and high-end comfort aboard two premium trains. Designed by Golden Eagle founder and rail travel pioneer Tim Littler, the new itinerary features the debut of the Vietnam Express — a stylish train offering Indochine-inspired ensuite cabins, a refined bistro car, and the brand’s signature attentive service.
