Layt was most recently Associate Director, Asia Pacific with ID Travel Group for the past 2.5 years. Prior to that position, she was an independent affiliate of Savenio in luxury retail travel space for nearly five years. Jennifer Compton, Senior Key Account Manager (NSW, WA, SA, TAS) said the experience Layt brings from both sides of the luxury travel market will be an invaluable asset to Seabourn.
“Belinda has sailed on Seabourn over the years as an invited guest; a Virtuoso Voyages host as well as choosing Seabourn for her own private travel. As a luxury travel supplier, it’s not often you come across a person whose product experience matches their product passion,” Compton remarked.
Layt announced her departure from the New York-based ID Travel Group last week, saying: “Over the last two and a half years at ID Travel Group, I have
thoroughly enjoyed growing our business together and creating wonderful connections with you all.” “I would like to share that I will be embarking on a new journey in luxury travel,” Layt said on Friday. Today, Layt added: “I’m absolutely thrilled and delighted to be joining Seabourn and I am excited to share my experience with this exceptional brand and my passion for ultra-luxury cruising with our valued luxury agency partners.”
