Sabi Sabi Collection South Africa is highlighting its continued growth and strategic evolution during a high-impact sales trip across Australia and New Zealand, led by Trade Relations Manager Juan Nel. The tour includes key markets such as Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland, where Nel is meeting with Africa travel specialists and valued trade partners. On Tuesday, travel trade partners attended an exclusive event at the QT Hotel Sydney, where Nel shared updates on the brand’s progress and thanked the industry for its continued support. “As Sabi Sabi’s second-largest international market, the appetite for African travel continues to grow and we’re excited to share our stories and plans with these important partners,” he said. “We’ve had great support in Perth and Brisbane and are looking forward to connecting with more partners in Melbourne and Auckland.”

This initiative follows a pivotal milestone for the family-owned brand — its 2024 rebranding from Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve to Sabi Sabi Collection. The rebrand signals “a new era of expansion” for the luxury safari operator. At the heart of this growth is the development of Sandringham Private Game Reserve, set to open in 2026. A former hunting reserve, Sandringham is being reimagined as a conservation-focused wildlife sanctuary with luxury lodges. These will offer “exceptional experiences” deeply rooted in sustainability, conservation, and community projects. Sabi Sabi is also expanding into urban hospitality, with the upcoming opening of The Claremont, a boutique hotel in Cape Town, scheduled to open on 1 September 2025. The tour is supported by Ynot Concepts, Sabi Sabi’s representation partner in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring a collaborative push to deepen engagement in the region.
