Sofitel has partnered with renowned designer Cordelia de Castellane to launch a chic new wardrobe for its 25,000 employees across more than 120 hotels worldwide. The Sofitel Vestiaire collection, described as a modern expression of French elegance, signals a bold new chapter for the luxury hotel brand. “The Sofitel Vestiaire is much more than a uniform: it’s a manifesto,” said Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, MGallery and Emblems. “It reflects the joy of embracing a brand, the pride of being its ambassador, and the desire to wear our values in silk, knit, or cotton.” Crafted under the artistic direction of de Castellane, the 45-piece wardrobe blends timeless silhouettes with contemporary flair, offering modular and evolving looks tailored to diverse roles and climates. Designed with “flexibility in mind,” the collection includes noble fabrics, refined textures, and Parisian-inspired cuts.

“For me, Sofitel is a madeleine de Proust,” said de Castellane. “It brings back childhood memories, iconic hotels, and a very specific vision of French luxury. I wanted to imagine a wardrobe that expresses this Parisian sophistication, but also the warmth of hospitality and the pride of representing a house.” The new designs feature exclusive prints and a luxurious reinterpretation of the graphic Sofitel logo, transforming it into a high-fashion monogram. Tested across pilot hotels, the pieces prioritise comfort, elegance, and durability. Aligned with Sofitel’s CSR commitments and developed with Paris Good Fashion, the wardrobe champions sustainability, repairability, and recyclability. “This partnership with Cordelia de Castellane is the meeting of two visions of luxury, united by a shared passion for exceptional design,” Bailly said.
