The Luxury Travel Collection (LTC) launched its inaugural Immersion famil this week, hosted in collaboration with esteemed Galeries de Luxe partner, Uga Escapes in Sri Lanka.
This exclusive experience marks the beginning of LTC’s newly launched immersion program, a purpose-led initiative designed to deepen destination knowledge and elevate luxury expertise within the LTC member network.
“At LTC, immersion is more than a concept, it’s a philosophy,” said Nikki Glading, General Manager of The Luxury Travel Collection.
“Today’s luxury traveller craves meaning, connection, and authenticity. Our immersion program is crafted to meet that demand, offering our members privileged access to transformative experiences that go far beyond traditional education, empowering them to deliver more nuanced, compelling journeys for their discerning clients.”
Recent booking analysis conducted by FCTG shows that interest in Sri Lanka has increased by 14% year-on-year in Q1 2025, an indicator of growing demand for the destination’s blend of culture, heritage, and natural beauty.
“Sri Lanka is rapidly emerging as a luxury hotspot, offering a compelling mix of soulful storytelling, boutique properties, and rich sensory experiences,” said Glading.
“Uga Escapes shares our vision for immersive, high-touch travel, and we’re thrilled to bring this partnership to life for our members.”
Throughout the journey, participants are exploring Uga’s stunning collection of properties, engaging with local artisans and cultural custodians, and gaining firsthand insight into the experiences that make Sri Lanka an increasingly aspirational destination.
Each participant on the Sri Lanka famil was invited to bring a travelling companion, an unprecedented offering for a land-based famil.
“Our hosts were absolutely blown away by the dynamic energy of the group,” said Glading. “Thanks to the generosity of Uga Escapes, the inclusion of companions brought an entirely new dimension to the famil format, enhancing both connection and insight in powerful ways.”
“Each experience was carefully tailored to reflect the values shared by LTC and Uga: authenticity, bespoke luxury, and deep cultural connection,” Nilika De Alwis, Sales Manager for Uga Resorts, added.
“LTC advisors were invited to step beyond the traditional travel lens, discovering the soulful essence of Sri Lanka through the distinctive, destination-oriented Uga properties. From heritage storytelling to wellness rituals and culinary discoveries, every moment was designed to inspire and inform future journeys curated for the discerning traveller,” said De Alwis.
“The collaboration reaffirmed the strength of our partnership and the potential for future high-value experiential travel programs in Sri Lanka.”
This is the first in a series of LTC immersions planned across trending global destinations, aimed at elevating knowledge, deepening partner engagement, and ensuring its members remain the most informed and inspired luxury advisors in the market.
