Helloworld Travel has promoted Iain Summers to General Manager Magellan & Helloworld Business Travel networks, effective immediately.
Summers joined the group in August 2023. During his tenure he has forged strong partnerships with the Magellan members.
Helloworld says it is “the engagement and support Iain has been providing the Magellan network that makes him the ideal Executive to take on responsibility for the very important HWBT network.”
Summers will be supported by two dedicated staff members focused on interacting with the two networks daily.
“I am very much looking forward to working closely with such an established group of Business Travel industry professionals, and to the exciting times and achievements that lie ahead,” Summers said.
“Iain is a proven industry performer,” Nick Sutherland, Group General Manager Retail Networks said. “He brings to the Helloworld Business Travel Network outstanding experience having ably led Magellan Travel for the past 2 years.”
