Although Orient Express Corinthian will be similar in size to other new luxury yacht products from rival hospitality brands, the experience will be entirely different, Global Chief Sales Officer Accor Luxury & LifestylePascal Visintainer has insisted.
The luxury yacht will launch in May 2026, initially sailing the Mediterranean before heading to the Caribbean.
It will follow the launch of luxury yacht products from other luxe hotel brands – Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, which started sailing in 2022 with its third vessel Luminara joining its fleet just last week, and Four Seasons Yachts, which will debut in January 2026 with the launch of Four Seasons I.
“Even if the size is quite impressive, because Corinthian is 220 metres long, it has just 54 suites,” Visintainer told media at International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) Asia Pacific 2025 currently underway in Singapore. “To give you an idea, that is around the same size as the yacht from Four Seasons, or from Ritz-Carlton, but where they have above 95 suites on board with the same size, we will be just at 54 cabins – so 104 clients on board and 170 employees on board. The crew will be larger than the number of people on board.”
In addition to this, he highlighted Corinthian’s onboard offering as a major advantage over other players in the space. “We’ll have five restaurants, five or six bars. We have a recording studio, we have an auditorium we have two pools. We have a Guerlain spa. We have also a huge marina,” he said.
“The big difference is it is a yachting approach. It’s not a cruise. It’s a journey”
The new product also encourages immersion in local cultures. “For example, you will never sail during the night,” Visintainer explained, adding that the vessel will stay at least one night in each port in order to really enjoy the destination. “At night, you are at shore and you are able to go offboard.”
Guests can also expect unique excursions to each destination’s most opulent and gastronomic destinations.
And while the product is being launched to coincide with the Cannes Festival in May 2026, its initial voyages have been reserved for corporate buyouts, meaning individual travellers won’t be able to get on board until later. “June, July are reserved for buyouts, then from the end of July, middle of August, we start with individuals,” he said.
Sales opened at the end of March, with Visintainer reporting strong early demand.
The yacht will change itineraries each year, with work already underway on a second vessel for the fleet – Orient Express Olympian.
