The joint owners and operators of Four Seasons Yachts, Four Seasons and Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd, have appointed Ben Trodd as CEO of Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd. to steer the ultra-luxury cruise venture as it approaches its 2026 debut. Trodd, a seasoned executive with over 25 years at Four Seasons, took up the role on 1 July. He was selected for the role due to his “combination of strategic acumen, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of the Four Seasons brand.” “This is a pivotal moment for Four Seasons Yachts as we prepare to launch our first ship next year, and introduce an entirely new experience to the market,” said Nadim Ashi, Founder and Co-Owner of Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd. “It is the ideal time to welcome a visionary, respected leader like Ben to take on the helm of Four Seasons Yachts.” Meanwhile, Four Seasons President and CEO Alejandro Reynal highlighted the launch of Four Seasons Yachts as a “significant milestone” in the company’s history. “Ben brings a rare combination of brand and luxury insight, operational rigour and leadership vision,” he said. “He is the ideal steward for this exciting venture.”

Most recently Chief Operating Officer of AMAN, Trodd has also held senior roles at Four Seasons including General Manager, Regional Vice President, and Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing. In his new role, he will be based in Miami and will lead the overall strategy and execution of Four Seasons Yachts, overseeing technical operations, planning, deployment, sales, marketing, and crew operations. He will also work closely with shipbuilding and design partners Fincantieri and Tillberg Design of Sweden. “Four Seasons is a brand I know well, with a vision that I believe in deeply,” Trodd said. “To bring the service excellence and genuine hospitality that Four Seasons has perfected on land, to the water, is an exceptional opportunity and a great honour.” Launching in 2026, Four Seasons I will feature 95 residential-style suites, a 1:1 guest-to-staff ratio, 11 dining venues, a state-of-the-art transverse marina, and wellness amenities. It will sail through the Caribbean and Mediterranean. Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings leads nautical operations for the venture, while Four Seasons manages the guest experience.
