Orient Express’ upcoming Venetian hotel, Orient Express Palazzo Donà Giovannelli, is now accepting reservations from 1 April 2026, Arsenale Group has confirmed.
The new hotel is set within a 15th century palazzo, just a short walk from the city’s historic quay. It has been painstakingly restored over eight years under the direction of architect and interior designer Aline Asmar d’Amman.
“The project combines historical preservation with contemporary sophistication, offering a refined hospitality experience in the heart of Venice,” a statement said.
Among the 47 spaces are guestrooms, signature suites, grand salons and gathering areas. The design aims to blend the rich history of the palazzo with the “signature elegance” of the Orient Express brand.
“This opening represents a new milestone in the creation of destinations that honour history, design excellence, and the spirit of travel,” the company said. Its launch follows that of Orient Express La Minerva in Rome which opened in April this year.
