Azamara will offer 95 itineraries and visit more than 200 ports in 40 countries as part of its newly released 2023 European collection. Azamara’s 2023 European deployment features the boutique cruise line’s full fleet of ships for the first time: Azamara Pursuit, Azamara Quest, Azamara Journey and new addition, Azamara Onward. New ports to be visited include Alta, Norway; Brest, France; Cesme, Turkey; Fredericia, Denmark; Gothenburg, Sweden; Heimaey, Iceland and Mariehamn, Finland. The program features over 35 Country-Intentive voyages including Spain, Croatia, Italy, Norway and Scotland. Azamara will also debut its highly-anticipated Black Sea Intensive itinerary, where travellers can explore the history and wonders of ancient cities in Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine.
Azamara will also offer more than 75 overnights in popular European destinations, including Barcelona, Bordeaux and Monte Carlo. “The 2023 deployment marks a milestone for our brand and its unique offerings in Europe,” said Azamara President, Carol Cabezas.
“When sailing with Azamara, we are often the only ship in port, and with 75 overnights we are giving guests the chance to follow in the footsteps of locals with less crowds while immersing in the culture, history, and authentic flavours of the destination.”

Over 315 late nights are offered in cities such as Mykonos where guests can partake in the bustling nightlife and party scene; or Lisbon, Portugal, to enjoy a sunset cruise on the Tejo River or indulge in an assortment of tapas and wine in the city’s Bairro Alto neighbourhood for dinner. New land explorations will also be made available for Azamara guests to extend their adventure pre- or post- cruise, including the Switzerland Glacier Express Train as an AzAmazing Journey, available from Bordeaux or Amsterdam. Another option is a Stay Local two-night program in Gran Canaria. In addition to the release of Europe 2023 itineraries, Azamara has also opened the remaining 2022 voyages for Azamara Onward.
