MSC Cruises is preparing to introduce new city stay packages that can be paired with sailings in select ports around the world.
Launching in the northern summer, the ‘Stay & Cruise’ packages will include up to two nights accommodation, breakfast, a half-day city sightseeing tour, luggage transfer from the hotel to the cruise ship and private transfers to the ship.
Initially available in Venice, Italy and Athens, Greece when married with a seven-night voyage, MSC Cruises will also launch the new ‘Stay & Cruise’ offering in Miami and Port Carnaveral/Orlando and New York in 2023.

The hotels utlised in the packages will have dedicated MSC Cruises’ staff on hand in the lobby throughout the day to provide guests with ‘top tips’ for getting the most from their city excursion, and more. Air travel can also be booked through MSC Cruises and added to the ‘Stay & Cruise’ packages to allow guests to also book convenient flights and spend up to two days of discovery on land ahead of a spectacular cruise sailing. The new packages for East Mediterranean itineraries will be on sale by the end of April and can be booked through MSC Cruises’ website or through travel agents. The two-day ‘Venice Viewpoint’ will be for guests booking to sail onboard MSC Armonia, MSC Fantasia, MSC Musica and MSC Sinfonia from the Italian ports of Venice/Marghera, Monfalcone/Venice and Trieste. Guests for MSC Lirica’s sailings from the port of Piraeus in Greece can opt for up to two days of ‘Athens Attractions’ ahead of their cruise.
