Brigita Devries has been appointed to the newly created role with MSC Cruises as its Senior Sales Manager, Australia & New Zealand. Based in the Sydney, her appointement reflects MSC Cruises’ commitment to trade partner relationships and the growth of the MSC Cruises brand in this region. Devries has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the cruise industry having worked in leadership, sales and marketing roles for Swan Hellenic, Crystal and Dream Cruises, Star Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line. She joins MSC Cruises following a period with Swan Hellenic as General Manager for Australia & New Zealand. Devries was also Vice President, Sales & Marketing and Managing Director of Crystal & Dream Cruises, Australia & New Zealand business.

This will further strengthen our local sales team to support our trade partners and demonstrates the growth for Australia and New Zealand.” Devries said she was thrilled to join MSC Cruises. “My entire career has been spent in the cruise industry, and I look forward to continuing that tradition by providing a high level of service and business solutions to MSC Cruises’ current and future trade partners.” The announcement is in line with MSC Cruises’ growth plan of 23 new next-generation ships by 2025, which will strengthen the line’s position as the market leader in Europe, South America, the Middle East and Southern Africa.
