AIME Welcome Event anticipated to be a sell out

The Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME) Welcome Event has proven to be one of the hottest tickets in town with an unprecedented number of tickets already snatched up by business events, travel and tourism professionals. The AIME Welcome Event is the showcase opening event for AIME, Australia’s largest business events expo, and is an opportunity for guests to mingle and network the evening before the two-day trade show kicks off on 23 and 24 February. Karen Bolinger, Melbourne Convention Bureau CEO, said tickets are selling fast and is urging anyone wanting to attend to get in now: “This is one of the most anticipated events of the year within the industry and this year we have taken it up a notch. “Our ambitious One Year in Melbourne in One Night theme has pushed our event partner Event Management Group to take the event to new heights by showcasing what makes Melbourne unique into one special evening. We have experienced a surge in ticket sales and I encourage everyone who hasn’t yet purchased their ticket to get in quick.” Tickets are $150 and can be purchased online. AIME Welcome Event will take place on 22 February at 7pm the location is still secret and will be announced in the coming weeks.
