A&K opens sales for new 23-day Africa by Private Jet journey

Abercrombie & Kent is launching a new Private Jet journey in 2025 that explores the vast continent of Africa on one epic 23-day adventure. The luxury travel provider has curated an innovative itinerary spanning seven countries, including, for the first time on an A&K Private Jet journey, Tunisia. Africa: Across A Continent by Private Jet departs on 4 February 2025, guests will discover Tunisia’s Roman ruins at Carthage and Dougga, as well as explore the winelands of South Africa, the vanishing mountain gorillas of Rwanda and iconic wildlife of Kenya and Botswana; then learn about the ancient traditions of Benin and end with the bustling medina of Marrakech.

Many once-in-a-lifetime experiences are made possible through the flexibility of private air — as well as A&K’s unrivalled local presence and expertise in Africa, with offices in 10 countries throughout the continent. A small group of 48 like-minded guests travel on an all-inclusive itinerary packed with Insider Access, fine dining and outstanding wildlife viewing.

Tunisia: Explore the ancient alleyways of the old medina of Tunis and the ruins of ancient Carthage, including its Antonine Baths and reconstructed Roman-era theatre. Kenya: Spend three days in the heart of the Maasai Mara observing iconic wildlife, visit a local Maasai village and community school, and in Nairobi meet rescued animals during a private visit to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (where A&K will adopt an elephant on behalf of guests). Rwanda: Come face to face with the endangered mountain gorillas and learn about conservation efforts during a talk with a Gorilla Doctor and a visit to the Dian Fossey Research Centre. Then enjoy a private visit to the Iby’iwacu Cultural Center for an in-depth immersion into traditional local culture. Botswana: Search for wildlife in Chobe National Park by land and by water and relax on a sunset cruise on the Chobe River, where there are more elephants than anywhere else in Africa.

South Africa: Begin with a visit to neighbouring Victoria Falls and end with a relaxing evening at the Cape Grace Hotel overlooking the harbour. Explore the wine regions of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, enjoying lunch at one of the few wineries in the world owned solely by women of colour. Benin: Learn the secrets of African Vodoun at an authentic private ceremony, then explore a village referred to as the ‘Venice of West Africa’. Morocco: Stargaze into the vast desert skies above the Sahara Desert during an unforgettable night at the secluded A&K Private Desert Camp, complete with a traditional performance by Gnaoua tribesmen. Then explore the museums, markets and gardens of Marrakech.

Guests may personalise their journey with a choice of Design Your Day activities, including active outdoor excursions, enriching cultural encounters and relaxing wellness experiences. In Tunisia, guests may choose to visit Sidi Bou Said to walk its cobbled streets and view its distinctive blue and white houses. Explore the bustling souks of Tunis, journey to the Roman City of Dougga, or enjoy a day of leisure at the hotel with a spa treatment or a round of golf.

Accommodations include Angama Mara overlooking Kenya’s Masai Mara, One&Only Gorilla’s Nest and Singita Kwitonda Lodge in the heart of Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park, as well as Chobe Game Lodge on the banks of Botswana’s Chobe River. This epic journey concludes at The Oberoi, Marrakech, one of the top-rated resorts in North Africa.
