Situated in the heart of Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, Michelin-listed restaurant Moon Thai is launching a happy hour deal just to keep pouring the festive joy right after Chinese New Year: for the first seven minutes of every hour, selected spirits will ring in at only HKD$7 per glass, and buy-one-get-one-free for the remaining hour. In addition, guests can enjoy the ‘Pay-What-You-Pick’ free-flowing Thai Night Market canapés with the $7 happy hour: #MoonThaiHappyWineO’Clock! #MoonThaiDrinkingGame101: This bargain will last from 4pm to 7pm everyday for the perfect weekend pick-me-up. To quell the happy hour hunger, guests will be able to test their luck in the Year of the Monkey by drawing a card to select the price they pay for a range of free flowing canapés inspired by the Thai Night Market – starting from $8, $18, $28, $38, to $48. Made only from seasonal ingredients from Thailand, the variety of sweet and savoury canapés are signature creations of Moon Thai’s Group Executive Chef, Thai native, Harnskunwat Viboon (Lek). “I’m excited to show people in Hong Kong the authentic and complicated flavours of South-East Asian and Thai food. It’s surprisingly hard to find local Thai cuisine in the city, and I am passionate about incorporating both local and fusion flavours in my food,” says Chef Lek.
