Subcontinent destination management company Indian Holiday (IHPL) has established an outpost in Australia as the firm responds to an uptick in tourist demand, primarily for India, following the pandemic.
Headquartered in New Delhi, the 34-year-old business is a specialist in tourism and MICE-related services providing travel partners with package tours, hotels, transportation, guides, experiences, cruises, luxury trains and wellness holidays.
Represented locally by Karen Maher of Your Tourism Matters, Indian Holiday is already working with travel companies in Australia but sees strong potential for further growth, Abhijit Das Gupta, Vice President of Indian Holiday Pvt Ltd told LATTE.

The DMC offers travel arrangements across the country and into Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Tibet and Bangladesh. Most Australian clients of IHPL seek assistance for bespoke travel arrangements in Rajasthan, including the Golden Triangle, Southern India spanning Kerela, Tamilnadu, Kerala, as well as Goa and Gujarat. Indian Holiday also create custom itineraries centred around women’s only tours, yoga and meditation tours, HOLI Festival, Ladakh motorbike tours, Gujarat heritage tours, sports tours and more. “India has always had good visitation with English-speaking countries and it is increasing. Post-COVID the interest has risen higher, especially from Australia,” Das Gupta said.
