Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group extended a warm welcome to key Australian media, including LATTE, at an intimate sit-down dinner held at the renowned Quay restaurant on Monday evening.
The event, hosted by Directors of Sales and Marketing from various Mandarin Oriental locations including Hong Kong, Bangkok, New York and London, offered a unique opportunity for industry insiders to gain exclusive insights as each director shared valuable updates about their properties, highlighting recent milestones and new offerings.
The evening commenced with Peter Hession, Sales and Marketing Representative for Mandarin Oriental in Australia, sharing news from the group including Mandarin Oriental’s exciting pipeline of upcoming properties in destinations including Rome, Bali, London Bankside, Athens and Sardinia.
Hession said Mandarin Oriental operates some of the world’s most luxurious hotels, restaurants and residences.
“We’re recognised for creating exceptional properties. Each destination reflects the group’s Oriental heritage, local culture and unique design.
Further solidifying the groups dedication to delivering exceptional experiences and legendary service, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group just yesterday opened the doors to its 41st property, Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing. A unique property of just 42 courtyard houses located in the heart of a traditional hutong neighbourhood inside the Beijing Central Axis. This follows the dual opening of Mandarin Oriental, Muscat and Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London in June of this year.
Combined with its hotel tally of 42, Mandarin Oriental also operates 12 Residences and 24 Exclusive Homes – spanning a total of 26 countries.
The visiting Mandarin Oriental delegation, and Hession, will meet with VIP travel agency partners in Sydney today and tonight, before connecting with others trade partners and media in Melbourne later this week.
