Destination Canada and Virtuoso aligned to host the first ever study tour out of the Australian and New Zealand market for Virtuoso Advisors, visiting Vancouver and Whistler in British Columbia, as well as Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories, renowned to be the Aurora Capital of the World.
Seven Virtuoso advisors were hosted by Michele Duncan, Virtuoso Lead, Account Director and treated to white-glove service, bespoke experiences and knowledge-building touch-points.
“Virtuoso Study Tours provide ongoing support, surpassing standard educational programs to reinforce learning and reiterate resources. The knowledge gained through these tours is shared with the entire Virtuoso network via post-trip recorded calls and updates from participating Advisors on their sales success with the product and destination,” explained Duncan.
During the journey, ‘Virtuosos’ experienced a variety of unforgettable activities, including zodiac excursions, a market food tour, Michelin dining, Grouse Mountain adventure, 4×4 glacier viewing safari, photography tour with bear viewing, ziplining, helicopter flights, seaplane flights, and a stay at the iconic Blachford Lodge accessed by a 25 minute float plane from Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories, where they got to experience one of the world’s best Aurora.
Participating advisors included Deb Oliver, Frontier Travel; Deborah Clarke, MTA; Kathy Thomaidis, MTA; Katie Bramley, Enhance Travel; Sarah Manche, MTA; Michelle Hansen, Aurora Travel; Marcela Hrncir, Wentworth Travel and Michele Duncan, Virtuoso, Account Director (Host).
