In collaboration with the European Travel Commission (ETC), Visit Monaco and Atout France have partnered to organise a six-day fam trip showcasing the very best of these two glamorous destinations including unique cultural experiences, prestigious hotels and fine dining restaurants. A select group of six high-end Australian travel advisors embarked on an immersive famil to Monaco and Nice from 9 to 14 October 2024. The exclusive itinerary offered the advisors an unparalleled opportunity to discover the finest in luxury, culture, and hospitality on the Riviera.

Key Highlights

With so many recent openings and updates, it was valuable for the advisors to (re)discover Monaco and experience how the destination continues to evolve while preserving its distinctive charm.”  
  • Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Area

    • Luxury accommodation: during their stay in the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Area, advisors had the opportunity to stay in 2 iconic 5-star luxury properties in Nice: Le Negresco Hotel and the Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel. They also discovered two brand new 5-star hotels : the Hôtel du Couvent (opened in June 2024) and the Hôtel Le Victoria by the Maison Albar Group in the pre-opening phase (scheduled to open in November 2024), which will mark the move upmarket in Nice’s hotel offer. The discovery of luxury establishments continued in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat with the 5* Hôtel Royal Riviera.
    • Cultural discovery and Mediterranean Art of Living: The fam trip featured cultural and gastronomic experiences with visits to the Villa Masséna, the Palais Lascaris, the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild and the Bellet vineyards, which have a registered designation of origin for all three colours of wine. The trip also included unique activities, such as a VIP shopping experience at Galeries Lafayette in Nice Masséna, a fragrance creation workshop at Galimard Perfume Factory and an immersive segway tour of Nice.
