Insight Vacations is reporting significant sales spikes for Eastern European countries including Romania and Poland for 2025, with bookings up 75% and 48% year-on-year respectively for both destinations. In Scandinavia, demand for Finland jumped an impressive 82% from travellers living in Australia and New Zealand, while sales for Malta are up triple digits — soaring a whopping 267% compared to last year.
The Travel Corporation guided touring brand says the resurgence in culturally diverse destinations offers uncapped potential for travel advisors to meet the needs of customers looking for not only the best-selling favourites but emerging destinations.
“This surge in bookings to new destinations shows us that the sky’s the limit for agents in 2025,” said Toni Ambler, Managing Director of Insight Vacations Oceania.
“We’re not only welcoming back loyal travellers eager to discover something fresh, but also seeing interest from first-time travellers looking for somewhere that’s still Europe, but different and a little unexpected.”
“Our valued agent partners can sell with confidence, knowing that Insight Vacations provides premium Business Class touring no matter what corner of the globe their clients want to explore.”
For clients wanting to explore Finland and the North, the Grand Scandinavia tour takes them through Northern Europe’s last great wilderness, Urho Kekkonen National Park, includes an afternoon with the nomadic Sami community and their reindeer herd, and brings them to stand on the Arctic Circle.
On the Northern Lights of Scandinavia, featuring Norway and Finland, guests enjoy an included overnight stay in a glass-domed hotel, perfect for taking in sweeping views of the night sky and, if the timing is right, the Northern Lights. They’ll also meet a champion Alaskan husky racer before embarking on a husky sled ride in Alta.
In Romania, as part of the Treasures of the Balkans tour, guests will visit the highlight cities of Bucharest and Brasov and enjoy a private dinner at Bran Castle in Transylvania, the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula. They’ll learn about Queen Maria of Romania, the castle’s last royal inhabitant, visit the infamous torture rooms and relive tales of Count Dracula.
Guests can visit Poland on five Insight Vacations tours including the Highlights of Poland. On this tour, they’ll uncover the deeply moving stories of the country’s rich history in cities like Warsaw and Krakow, while also exploring new destinations with an insightful twist. These include the Tatra Mountains, where they’ll experience local folklore traditions with the Goral Highlanders, and Wroclaw, the ‘Venice’ of Poland, where they’ll discover the city’s mansions, flower markets, and famous gnomes – all topped off with delicious craft beer.
Across every tour and every destination, Insight Vacations’ Business Class Touring offers an elevated premium experience including the brand’s exclusive ‘Business Class’ style Mercedes and Volvo custom small group coaches with double the legroom and twice the view, stays in 4- and 5-star hotels, as well as many regional and seasonal meals.
Guests are accompanied by a specialist Driver and Travel Director with local expertise, ensuring they get up close and personal with each destination. All tours are offered in Small Groups, with a maximum of 24 guests.
“With an NPS score of 80 we are confident our customers will enjoy every moment of their Insight travel experience,” adds Ambler. “From our elevated dining and stylish accommodations to experiences that take them beyond the known, there’s a reason why our guests choose Insight Vacations time and time again.
“Whether your clients are exploring Finland or France, Spain or Sweden, for the first or fifteenth time, it’s the premium touches on our Business Class Tours that leave a lasting impression, turning a tour into something truly unforgettable.”
