Ahead of the 7 April Australian launch of the highly anticipated The Jungle Book movie, andBeyond have put together an itinerary that allows you to step into the exotic world of The Jungle Book by walking in Mowgli’s footsteps in the dense Indian jungles. The seven night Jungle Book Safari has been specially created for nature, wildlife and The Jungle Book enthusiasts and carefully designed to give you a taste of the exciting, endless possibilities and can be tailored to suit preferences. Highlights of the itinerary include:

• Visit Pench National Park, the famous setting for Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book
• Enjoy the opportunity to see the characters of The Jungle Book in real life, from the mighty tiger Shere Khan to Baloo the sloth bear and Mowgli’s adopted wolf pack
• Indulge in menus inspired by the local tribal food of Mowgli’s time or the Anglo-Indian favourites of the British Raj
• Sleep out in an open-air machan or indulge in an al fresco shower, just like Mowgli
• Visit a local village and learn the traditional skills of using a boomerang or a bow and arrow
