British Airways has unveiled its newly refreshed lounge at Changi Airport’s Terminal 1 in Singapore, part of the airline’s GBP7 billion transformation program. The upgraded lounge marks another milestone in the airline’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the customer experience which includes new cabin interiors and an upgraded website and app, in addition to refreshed lounges. Accommodating up to 226 guests, the lounge has been updated with a range of enhancements, including a new dining area for eligible customers, alongside office spaces with workstations and power outlets.

“Our refreshed lounge in Singapore embodies our dedication to innovation and comfort, and we hope our guests will appreciate the elevated surroundings and exceptional service of our wonderful colleagues,” British Airways’ Chief Customer Officer, Calum Laming said. Access to the lounge is available to customers travelling in First and Club World (British Airways’ business class), as well as eligible loyalty program members. The redesigned lounge aims to blend British Airways’ heritage with Singaporean culture.At the Concorde Dining area, formerly named The Bar, ambient lighting, premium fabrics, and attentive table service are part of the offering. The reimagined menu offers British classics like herb-crusted beef tenderloin and sticky toffee pudding, alongside locally inspired dishes such as cashew satay chicken and Lion Mane mushroom curry. The drinks selection has been expanded to include premium Champagnes from Joseph Perrier and Bollinger. Meanwhile, the lounge’s interior features British heritage-inspired fabrics, with bespoke furniture from Boss Design and curated artwork by Singapore-based designer Louise Hill, a nod to the city’s vibrant history. The upgraded lounge also includes individual pods for privacy, enhanced seating arrangements, and upgraded lighting.
