The Palace des Neiges in Courchevel will be relaunched as Monte-Carlo One – Courcheval in the 2026-27 winter season, under new owner Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer (SBM) Group. The property, which Monte-Carlo SBM acquired in 2023, will be the first under the company’s new international brand Monte-Carlo One – Hotels & Residences. It represents the group’s first expansion outside the Principality of Monaco, reflecting its growing international presence and ambition to bring the Monte-Carlo lifestyle to exclusive destinations around the world. The brand promises to create exceptional spaces designed by top architects, with each property, including Monte-Carlo One – Courchevel, offering a unique identity while embodying the elegance and refinement synonymous with the Monte-Carlo name. According to Chairman and CEO of SBM Stéphane Valeri, Courcheval is the ideal place to launch the brand as it is the “Alpine reflection of the Principality of Monaco”. “The creation of Monte-Carlo One – Hotels & Residences demonstrates our determination to open up to new markets, offering experiences and a level of excellence characteristic of Monte-Carlo,” he said.
“This brand will embody the values cultivated by our Group, to meet the expectations of an increasingly demanding international clientèle. With Monte-Carlo One – Courchevel, we are rolling out this strategy in an iconic resort that shares these same values and targets a common customer base, without forgetting future synergies in terms of human resources.”
Monte-Carlo One – Courchevel is expected to open for the 2026/2027 winter season, when it will showcase cutting-edge design and sustainability. The hotel will be located in the heart of the Jardin Alpin, offering a seamless blend of luxurious design and environmental responsibility.
