Chef Alexandre Ciriello, a celebrated member of culinary association JRE-Belgium, will showcase his culinary talents on Swan Hellenic’s SH Diana during a 10-day voyage from 21 May to 1 June 2025.
The exclusive journey, called Spirit of the Celts, will take guests from Portsmouth, England, to Dublin, Ireland, offering an opportunity to explore the rich coastal cultures and culinary traditions of the British Isles.

Highlights include a Gala Dinner with a specially curated menu that combines locally sourced ingredients and contemporary culinary techniques. Guests will also enjoy a live cooking demonstration, where Chef Alexandre will share his artistry and passion for cooking. Additionally, exclusive gastronomic excursions will take guests ashore to explore regional culinary traditions.
Chef Alexandre Ciriello’s impressive background includes training at the Pierre Romeyer Hotel School and working under renowned chefs like Yves Mattagne, Peter Goossens, and Maxime Colin. His culinary journey reached a significant milestone when he opened L’Horizon, a fine-dining restaurant in Belgium, at just 20 years old. His innovative yet tradition-rooted approach to cuisine has earned him widespread recognition, including being a finalist on the French TV show Objectif Top Chef.
The Spirit of the Celts voyage also includes a range of excursions, from kayaking in Dingle Bay to exploring Tresco Abbey Gardens.
The 2025 culinary-focused Maris sailings will feature 10 distinguished JRE-Jeunes Restaurateurs star chefs, including: Heribert Dietrich from Switzerland, Philippe Deslarzes from Switzerland, Herman Cooijmans from the Netherlands, Franco Körperich from Switzerland, Lola Marin from Spain, Federico Pettenuzzo from Italy, Alberto Basso from Italy, Lukas Nagl from Austria, and Steffen Disch from Germany.
