Luxury Travel Collection will expand beyond Australian shores as Flight Centre Travel Group’s (FCTG) luxury-centric business arm continues its growth strategy. Luxury Travel Collection comprises brands Travel Associates, Scott Dunn, Luxperience and the Luxury Travel Collection Member Portfolio. Speaking at last weekend’s conference in Brisbane, Danielle Galloway, Managing Director – Luxury and Independent brands, FCTG, confirmed the business arm is “committed to excellence” while delivering “exceptional quality in all products and services”. Paramount to the success of LTC is a focus on various aspects including creativity coupled with innovation; the preservation of heritage and craftsmanship of partners; and evolving the Luxury Travel Collection into “a global powerhouse”.

“The tastes and trends of luxury consumers are changing by the minute. You have to be creative and you’ve got to be innovative. There’s no commoditisation left in travel in general, let alone in luxury travel,” Galloway explained to delegates at Star Brisbane last weekend. “To continue to grow, we need to continue to grow globally. We want to be a global leader in luxury,” Galloway said.
“We want to expand our reach and influence by reinforcing the position of LTC, way beyond the border of Australia.”
Galloway compared the early success of the Luxury Travel Collection (which launched in February 2024) to the initial brushstrokes of a creating a canvas, “bringing together industry leading brands, each contributing a unique brushstroke to the bigger picture.”
“Investing in partnerships, technology and insight to strengthen our offerings. And of course, cementing our reputation as a luxury platform for both high-end travellers, and of course the travel professionals that are here today,” Galloway said. Other strategies for LTC include expanding into new destinations, categories and traveller expectations.
“As we continue to grow and build this Masterpiece, showcasing excellence, LTC isn’t just built. It’s living. It’s evolving and I can assure you, it is continuously growing.
“Our brands are setting new benchmarks, delivering on the promise of extraordinary experiences. “At LTC, we don’t just display the best of luxury travel, we are creating it,” she added.
