Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has welcomed its new Business Development Manager for Queensland and Western Australia Claire Simon to its team. Based in Brisbane, Simon replaces Shelley Martin who was confirmed as Australia Sales Manager for Windstar Cruises last week. Most recently Queensland Sales Manager at The Travel Corporation sister brand AAT Kings, Simon brings a vault of industry experience into hew new role from companies including South African Airways, Air New Zealand and Trafalgar.

It follows other recent appointments including that of Tiffany Mestrinho as its new Business Development Manager for Victoria and Tasmania, while Jen Pagett was promoted to Senior Manager of Key Accounts. Another face will soon join the team, with Uniworld currently recruiting for a “rockstar” Business Development Manager based in Auckland to manage its New Zealand key accounts.
