Pearl Expeditions, the operator of the soon-to-launch boutique motor yacht, Paspaley Pearl, has unveiled its initial Calendar of Expeditions, providing insight on the 25 expedition itineraries and pricing, for voyages commencing in late July 2025 through to April 2026. The inaugural 70 day expedition season through to early October has been in strong demand, currently with only four voyages across 37 days still remaining available for sale. A number of expeditions have been chartered, by operators such as Captain’s Choice, or have Special Events planned. Paspaley Pearl and her 21 crew will welcome their first guests on 31 July and commence an in-depth season of Kimberley experiences, enhanced by the opportunity to learn, engage and experience first hand why Paspaley produces “the most beautiful pearls in the world”.

Bespoke experiences planned for Paspaley Pearl’s (maximum) 30 guests have been carefully selected by the four expedition naturalists who will personally guide guests as they reveal the myriad secrets of this remote, unforgettable, coastline. A special opportunity to visit a working Paspaley pearl farm operation, as well as rarely visited hidden sites such as Whirlpool Pass and Ruby Falls – only accessible by small ship and insider knowledge. Following these initial Kimberley expedition voyages the motor yacht will then explore the cultural and geographic diversity of Australia’s nearby neighbours – Papua New Guinea, East Indonesia, Raja Ampat and Borneo.
Sarina Bratton, Executive Chair, and Mick Fogg, recently appointed General Manager and Head of Sustainability for the brand, have a long history of exploration in these destinations stretching back to 2005 when they were instrumental in establishing Orion Expedition Cruises’ ground-breaking itineraries. These initiatives became a template for expedition cruising in the region. Fogg has retained enduring cultural connections with local communities and village elders, these ongoing relationships providing opportunities for memorable and exhilarating experiences ashore to compliment the relaxed yet stylish ambiance when back onboard Paspaley Pearl. As Fogg highlights, “the company’s theme Small Footprints. Infinite Horizons, is a reflection of Pearl Expeditions’ commitment to redefine sustainable boutique expedition cruising”. The Calendar of Expeditions are available now and can be viewed here.
