Sajon to drive Virtuoso’s European growth as new regional GM

Maria Beatriz Sajon will replace Hanna Hinz as Virtuoso’s General Manager, Continental Europe with immediate effect, as the luxury travel network seeks to accelerate growth across the region. Virtuoso highlighted Sajon’s extensive international experience, strategic acumen and deep understanding of the organisation as critical advantages in her new role. “Bea brings not only a global perspective and operational rigor but also the cultural fluency and human connection that are at the core of Virtuoso,” said Senior Vice President, Global Operations Michael Londregan.

“Her established record in building success in diverse markets makes her an ideal leader to help Virtuoso realise the potential of the Continental Europe market.”

Sajon, who will relocate from Miami to Europe, moves into her new position from her role as Virtuoso’s General Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean, which she has held since 2023. During that time, she successfully launched the Regional Preferred Partner Program, which now encompasses 28 companies, complementing Virtuoso’s Global Preferred Partner Program. In addition, she introduced “Virtuoso, The Book,” an annual collectible publication featuring inspirational content and paid placements by world-renowned luxury jewellery and watch brands seeking to reach influential travellers throughout the region. She also elevated member engagement through a roster of events across the region that brought together members and partners through networking and professional development opportunities. With Sajon now overseeing Continental Europe, Virtuoso will focus on strengthening relationships with the network’s members and partners, increasing market engagement and driving innovation through “tailored regional strategies and solutions”. Meanwhile, Virtuoso paid tribute to Hinz’s leadership which it said had established Continental Europe as a distinct market within Virtuoso’s global structure, “laying a strong foundation for future success”. Sajon will continue to oversee the Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) region while a new General Manager of LAC is found with the search to be led by Londregan with her support.
