MSC Cruises has announced the year-round deployment of MSC Opera in the South Caribbean for the Winter 2026/27 and Summer 2027 seasons, marking the first time the cruise line has deployed a ship in the area during the summer season, and also its first time offering two ships during a winter season.
Sales are now open for the new itineraries, which aim to provide guests with “even more options to discover this stunning region’s captivating destinations year-round.” Voyages include seven-night cruises, or travellers can combine two itineraries for a 14-night “butterfly” cruise. Ports of call include the Dominican Republic, Martinique, Guadeloupe, British Virgin Islands, Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda as well as the Netherlands Antilles.
MSC Opera will homeport in La Romana, Dominican Republic, with its first departure on 16 November 2026. Beginning in April 2027, Fort-de-France in Martinique, will also serve as a second embarkation point.
