Singapore will welcome its first The Luxury Collection Resort, The Laurus, with the 183-suite luxury hotel set to debut on Sentosa Island in the third quarter of 2025. Bookings are already open for the new property which will feature courtyard spaces, a function room spanning five floors, a swimming pool, spa and all-day restaurant. Resorts World Sentosa CEO Tan Hee Teck said the hotel would stand as a “shining beacon”, heralding a new era of luxury and hospitality. “The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort, embodies the very essence of our ongoing pivot to offer curated destination experiences as part of RWS’ transformational expansion plans,” he said. “We are thrilled to invite guests to immerse themselves in Singapore’s rich heritage, reconnect with the captivating beauty of Sentosa’s lush flora and fauna while experiencing RWS’ hallmark hospitality, defined by unparalleled sophistication, outstanding quality and innovation.” Meanwhile, Marriott International President Asia Pacific excluding China Rajeev Menon said the announcement reflected the hospitality giant’s commitment to Singapore’s evolving luxury landscape. “Drawing inspiration from Singapore’s storied past and rich cultural heritage, The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort, will celebrate the essence of the city, and we look forward to welcoming global explorers and collectors to experience Singapore’s captivating charm through the lens of our brand,” he said.
