Luxury Travel Marketing has appointed Rachel Harrigan and Erin Kramer to the shared role of Account Manager for Hapag-Lloyd Cruises in the Australia and New Zealand markets. With extensive experience in the local cruise industry, Harrigan and Kramer bring a “combined wealth of knowledge in trade sales and cruise marketing,” having previously worked with a range of premium and luxury cruise brands. In their new dual role, the pair will focus on strengthening relationships with travel advisors across the region. Their responsibilities include delivering product training, providing marketing support, and developing tailored sales strategies aimed at expanding Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ presence in Australasia. The appointments represent a “significant investment” in Hapag-Lloyd’s commitment to the trade and form part of a broader, long-term growth strategy for the region, according to LTM. Co-Director Lauren McAlpine welcomed both new recruits to the team. “Their experience and expertise will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ presence in this market,” she said. “Creating this role is a logical next step in supporting our trade partners and driving new business across Australia and New Zealand.” Harrigan and Kramer officially began in their roles in June and are set to engage with trade partners over the coming months, supporting the promotion of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ luxury offerings.
