The President of Travel Leaders Network, John Lovell, is stepping down from his role at the end of June, taking up a new role with Virgin Voyages.
Travel Leaders Network is a division of Internova Travel Group, one of the world’s largest travel services companies.
Since joining the company in 2002, Lovell has held several leadership positions. He is widely respected for his insights on travel trends and his commitment to charitable causes. Under his leadership, Travel Leaders Network has grown to nearly US$20 billion in annual sales while deepening partnerships with suppliers.
“John Lovell has made a lasting impact on Internova,” said J.D. O’Hara, CEO of Internova Travel Group.
“His commitment to supporting travel advisors and agencies has been key to solidifying our role as an industry leader. His legacy of compassion and service will continue to inspire us. While we will miss him, I know that everyone at Internova wishes John success in his new role.”
Lindsay Pearlman, currently Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, will become President of Travel Leaders Network.
Pearlman joined the company in 2019 to work with international partners and later took on responsibility for managing relationships with Associate members. He previously served as Co-President of Ensemble Travel Group and held executive roles at American Express.
Lovell’s next move
Lovell will join Virgin Voyages as a Board Member and Senior Advisor, effective 7 July 2025.
Reporting directly to CEO Nirmal Saverimuttu, Lovell will be tasked with contributing strategic initiatives across the business. A key focus will be advisor engagement, supporting the company’s sales leadership and business development teams.
Saverimuttu said: “John brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of the advisor community. His decision to join Virgin Voyages speaks to the momentum we’ve built and the vision we’re committed to delivering.”
Lovell will work closely with the existing sales leadership team, including Nathan Rosenberg, Koreen McNutt, Kristy Woolums, and Stephen Hopkins, as well as Virgin Voyages’ regional sales directors.
