Umi’s architectural vision draws inspiration from the dramatic sea caves of Suluban Beach. Designed in a sweeping U-shape, the resort mirrors the natural curves of the cliffs, opening out to a series of cascading infinity pools that follow the land’s natural contours. The building is wrapped in sculptural planter boxes, blending sleek modern lines with vibrant greenery—evoking the sensation of being cradled within Uluwatu’s cliffs. Sustainability and luxury are at the core of Umi’s ethos. The resort is the vision of Co-Founder Danil Flehan, brought to life in collaboration with Immersive Architecture and the acclaimed Vojtek Morsztyn Studio.
