Luxury travel hospitality ambassdor and brand, Léa Seguier, has expanded her portfolio to include the ultra-luxurious Indonesian property, NIHI Sumba. Located on the island of Sumba, the 28 Villas & Estates property is a multi-award winner, recognised frequently by Conde Nast, Travel+Leisure and Tatler, to name a few. Seguier, the Co-Founder of La Collection which she established with Craig Farrell in 2022, has a long-standing ambassadorship with a modest stable of luxury brands in Europe and Africa, including La Reserve Hotels, Domaine de Murtoli and Singita. She will represent Nihi, alongside Singita, in the European and Australian markets. (The La Collection portfolio remains separate).

Speaking exclusively with LATTE, Seguier said having experienced NIHI firsthand recently “the decision felt natural” to extend her Ambassadorship to the landmark property, accessed most commonly from Australia via Bali. “NIHI is one of those rare places you instantly feel connected too,” she said. James McBride, Co-Founder and CEO of NIHI Sumba was first introduced to Seguier through their mutual friend and Seguier’s client, Jo Bailes, the Chief Executive Offier of Singita. “At first, Léa didn’t quite believe me – she thought a place like NIHI couldn’t exist,” McBride explained to LATTE.
“But after two years of conversations, she finally came to see it for herself. Once Léa did, she was captivated. NIHI touched her heart.”
“Léa now joins us as our Ambassador in Australia and Europe, with a special focus on France. She truly understands and embodies our spirit on the edge of wilderness and is uniquely positioned to share that dream with her extraordinary network.” “The whole team welcomes her and couldn’t be more excited to work alongside her, sharing the story of Sumba, NIHI, and it’s remarkable people across her market.”
Seguier added: “I’m delighted to represent NIHI Sumba as it shares the same core values I already stand for with Singita: a strong sense of purpose, community and sustainability.” “It’s also a wonderful opportunity to support their visibility in Europe as we continue to grow our presence in this market,” Seguier said. NIHI Sumba currently has a promotion for Australian and New Zealand travellers, offering a ‘Australia One-to-One’ promotion when travelling between September and 20 December 2025. The deal offers ANZ residents the chance to convert NIHI’s American Dollar rate to Australian Dollars at a ratio of 1:1. Learn more about NIHI Sumba at nihi.com/
