Radisson Hotel Group announced it has completed the renovation of Cour des Loges and reopened the Lyon, France property as part of its Radisson Collection portfolio. The hotel first joined Radisson Hotel Group in 2022 and has since undergone an update, becoming the first Radisson Collection property in the country.
The building that now houses Cour des Loges Lyon, A Radisson Collection Hotel dates to the 14th century. Over that span, it has been home to Italian merchants and a Jesuit college before being used as a private residence. The property was then transformed into a boutique hotel in 1987.
The hotel offers 61 individually designed rooms and suites. For guests looking for a sense of place, Collection Premium Rooms have exposed wooden beams, fireplaces and views over the historic courtyard. Junior Suites provide a bit more space, while Collection Suites are styled to reflect the history of the building, blending antique furnishings with modern comforts.
Chef Anthony Bonnet will continue to lead the kitchen at Les Loges, the hotel’s fine dining restaurant; he has helmed the restaurant for nearly 20 years. Inspired by his childhood in the Monts du Lyonnais, Bonnet crafts seasonal menus based on locally sourced ingredients—many from his own garden. Another option is Le Comptoir, a contemporary bistro with a terrace. Tip: La Petite Loge will soon reopen, offering a space for chef-led tastings, private dinners and gastronomic masterclasses.
The hotel’s spa, Pure Altitude, is also expected to open soon open. Among its facilities will be an indoor pool, hammam and sauna.
The building has six interior courtyards. The central courtyard has had its 17-meter-high glass roof reintegrated. Its location in Lyon’s UNESCO-listed Vieux Lyon district gives way to cobblestone streets, medieval façades and hidden passageways.
This debut marks a significant step in Radisson Hotel Group’s expansion across Europe’s “most culturally rich destinations.”
