Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is headed to the French Alps. The hotel, Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin, will be the brand’s second in France (with the Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel in Paris being the other) and is set to open in December 2025.
Located in Courchevel 1850, often listed among the world’s top ski destinations, the property signals Rosewood’s continued evolution into highly experiential, destination-led properties. Radha Arora, President of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, adds that “Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin represents a defining milestone for the brand as our inaugural venture into alpine hospitality.”
According to Rosewood, the resort will be situated at the pinnacle of Courchevel 1850, offering ski-in ski-out access. In all, the mountain retreat will have 51 guestrooms and suites. Good to know: Rosewood adds that the hotel will have the highest suite inventory in Le Jardin Alpin. Public spaces will include integrated retail and ski rental spaces, a spa, an all-day dining concept with a terrace, a kids club, bar lounge and cigar room. The former site is currently undergoing a complete transformation led by French designer Tristan Auer.
