037__dsc5967 latte-back     On Wednesday 19 October, 150 VIPs, including LATTE, gathered at Sydney’s most luxurious summer venue, Rooftop at the InterContinental Sydney Double Bay, to celebrate its opening for the summer season. Rooftop is the ultimate Sydney destination, a chic summer bar with spectacular views of the bay by day, which then shifts into a Mediterranean-inspired poolside bar by night. Guests on the night sampled signature Rooftop cocktails curated by mixologist Grant Collins; a summer inspired offering featuring summery spritzes, fizzes and fresh fruit based creations. Highlights included the pink grapefruit & blood orange spritz (beefeater gin, solerno, housemade blood orange sorbet, fresh blood orange, fresh pressed citrus) and the rooftop gin garden (gin, chartreuse, fresh cucumber, mint, pressed apple and elderflower). A further highlight of the Rooftop summer offer is a new menu of small bites, including a selection by award-winning Japanese restaurant, Saké Restaurant & Bar, featuring such classic dishes as kingfish jalapeno and nigiri moriawase. Guests including Skye Leckie, Nicole Sherif, Charlotte and Bridget Holmes à Court, Eva Galambos, Tom Derickx, Theo Smallbone, Stephanie Conley, Rachel Cooper, Will Stewart, Steve Flood and Shauna Mac relaxed to the chilled sounds of DJ Alice Quidington, and took in the sweeping views of Double Bay from across the infinity edge pool, filled with magical, glowing spheres to mark the occasion. Rooftop is open daily to all guests and visitors from 12pm until one hour after sunset with no minimum spend required. Guests will be seated on a first come, first serve basis (reservations are not available) and the venue may be closed at certain times due to inclement weather. latte-back   045_dsc_2877 056__dsc5969 069_dsc_3123 035__dsc5945 004_dsc_2541 028_dsc_2757 016_dsc_2635 043_dsc_2862
