Four IHG resorts from Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam gathered for an evening of signature cocktails and networking at InterContinental Sydney on Tuesday 15 August. Guests, including Signature Media CEO & Group Editor, Cathy Wagstaff, enjoyed the views from the Sydney Harbour Bridge to the Opera House from the hotel’s Harbour Room. The occasion was an opportunity to celebrate the arrival of Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach (represented by DoS, Yoan Irma), which welcomed its first guests last month. The new Balinese escape was joined by the winner of the World Travel Award for World’s Leading Luxury Resort 2016, InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort (represented by Director of PR & Communications , Mai Anh Du and DoSM, Radka Janotova); InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort (represented by DoSM, Jocelyn Whiteside), an enclave of 79 rooms, suites and villas overlooking the Gulf of Thailand; and one of Bali’s favourite beachfront retreats, InterContinental Bali Resort (represented by Area DoSM, Kamal Haer and Director of PR & Marketing Communications, Dewi Karmawan). It was a brilliant opportunity to catch up and learn the latest from some of Asia’s most prestigious hotels and resorts in coveted holiday destinations.
