Fusion Resort Phu Quoc brings the brand’s health and wellness lifestyle to one of Vietnam’s up-and-coming destinations. Echoing the island’s coastal architecture and fishing culture, this secluded beachfront resort is the perfect way to escape the stresses, strains and excesses of the modern world. Opened in June 2017, with 97 rustic yet contemporary thatched villas hugging the ocean and the banks of the neighboring river, the focus here is on relaxation, rejuvenation and understated luxury, all delivered in natural surroundings. Fusion’s All-Spa Inclusive concept means daily spa treatments can be enjoyed at no extra cost. Guests may stroll the bamboo-lined grounds of the 20-double room facility as they choose from a variety of massages, reflexology experiences, facials, hair and beauty treatments, and a selection of all-natural body scrubs and wraps. Courtesy of Fusion’s Breakfast Anywhere, Anytime service, guests may enjoy the most important meal of the day wherever, and whenever they wish, whether it’s midday or midnight, whether by the pool, on the beach or in bed. Between spa visits and long leisurely breakfasts, they may choose between two restaurants or a casual beachfront bar and diner, all boasting nutritious meals, drinks, and snacks courtesy of Executive Chef and health-oriented food expert Edmond Kwan. As part of Fusion’s holistic approach, there are also complimentary daily indoor and outdoor yoga sessions, plus a state-of-the-art health and fitness centre.
“Vacations are a great time to chill out,” says Fusion’s Founder and CEO Marco van Aggele, “But they’re also a great opportunity to get fit, get healthy and get moving.”
For entertainment and fun for all ages, Fusion has also laid on an outdoor cinema plus various games and activities and the Mini Maia kids’ club, making this resort a great choice for families as well as couples, honeymooners, groups of friends or solo travellers.
“With the latest Fusion property, we’ve created a wellness retreat that offers outstanding comfort and down-to-earth hospitality without the fuss and formalities of the traditional ‘luxury’ beachfront resort. We’ve also chosen a location that is currently undergoing a boom in tourism thanks to its powder white sand beaches, exotic jungles, world-class diving, and some of the freshest seafood you’ll find in Vietnam,” adds Marco.
