The first five-star hotel to open in Brisbane’s central business district in 20 years, the opening of W Brisbane will mark the re-entry of the W brand into Australia, with guestroom bookings due to commence in November 2017. Located at 300 George Street and with views across Brisbane River to South Bank and Mount Coot-tha, W Brisbane also has three bars and restaurants to add to the local setting. W Brisbane will offer 312 guestrooms, including 29 suites, two Wow Suites® and the Extreme Wow Suite® (the brand’s interpretation of a Presidential Suite), all showcasing views of the Brisbane River. Designed to enhance the guest experience, rooms include a W bathrobe, Bliss® amenities, the W bed, Bowers & Wilkins Bluetooth speakers, Netflix on the 140-centimetre LED TV, and an in-room W Mixbar along with complimentary Wi-Fi ensures. The Living Room (W’s take on the traditional hotel lobby) evolves into a hub in the evening, with a dedicated DJ booth, or guests can re-charge poolside at the WET® Deck with a swim, an Aussie barbecue and a range of smoothies. At the hotel’s AWAY® Spa, guests can detox with a massage, get a salon-ready hair-do, a manicure and pedicure, facial or quick fixes. The spa’s relaxation pods, vitality pools, experience showers and salt inhalation chambers will leave guests feeling rejuvenated. Guests can keep fit 24 hours a day in the FIT® gym with the latest equipment by TechnoGym. W Brisbane covers approximately 1100 square metres of event space and meeting rooms, which will be fully equipped with audio-visual facilities to set the stage for electric events.
