WildChina specialises in innovative and authentic experiences in China and beyond, ranging from picking tea with a farmer in Yunnan to making handspun yak wool with nomads in Gansu. Luxury and sustainability go hand in hand with WildChina, and journeys are accented by a sophisticated interpretation of nature and local artisan culture through genuine interactions with local communities.

Virtuoso travel advisors, as well as LATTE, learned about the company’s award-winning experiential offerings during an intimate cocktail party at InterContinental Sydney on Thursday 17 May with Jenny Zhao, director of leisure sales, and Emma Clifton, product and brand manager. WildChina endeavours to take its clients off the beaten track to experience authentic China and is the only tour operator that has permits to enter the restricted areas where you are guaranteed to see giant pandas in the wild. The company can also organise helicopter flights and chauffeur-driven cars to get visitors to parts of the Great Wall that other tourists rarely get to see.

WildChina offers private tours, small-group tours, expert-led journeys and education tours in China, Bhutan, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Cambodia.
