Launching September 2018, AYANA Hotel will set sail to the world’s largest specially built phinisi called AYANA Lako di’a. The 54-metre vessel has a 34-metre high mast and the ship will sail through the azure waters of the Komodo Islands – only a one-hour flight from Bali. Fitted with just nine bedrooms, the luxury AYANA Lako di’a will offer a variety of two-, three- or five-night cruises, and will also be available for private charter. It also features a 10-metre long hull, that provides “ample space for elegant celebrations”. Accommodating up to 18 guests, each spacious cabin offers an ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning, luxury linens, quality hand-crafted furnishings, and all the signature amenities one would expect from AYANA. There are three styles of Suite onboard – the Master Suite on the Top Deck, along with Luxury and Deluxe suites. “AYANA Lako di’a presents an elegant live-aboard sailing experience to enhance your Komodo Island resort holiday or corporate event with luxury accommodation, bespoke activities and signature dining,” AYANA’s website boasts.

Guests of AYANA Komodo Resort can experience a two-night island hopping itinerary which offer the chance to see Komodo’s indigenous dragons. There are also opportunities to go snorkelling, hiking, diving and for yoga lovers, stand-up paddle boarding yoga.

The vessel will also be available for short excursions and “focused business gatherings”, including day-long journeys centred on Komodo’s premium sightseeing.

AYANA Lako di’a will see the luxury hospitality company’s spa program taken to the sea, with Spa Escape at Sea treatments aboard the vessel either in a suite or in the open air on deck. More details to follow in LATTE when they come to hand.
