This month, Travel Associates’ businesses in South Australia teamed up with Trafalgar and TV chef Adam Swanson to create a local version of its Italian Culinary Adventure, which hosted 35 clients to a tantalising taste of Italy on home soil. As Swanson is hosting a group departure to Italy in September, the event promoted the upcoming itinerary designed to deliver la dolce vita. Activities started in the markets at Adelaide institution, Lucia’s, for a coffee. Then, Swanson took a short tour around some of the stalls for various tastings, followed by a trip to the Barossa Valley that included a visit to his own restaurant, Barossa Cucina. Some participants helped make pizzas, and the whole group enjoyed great Italian food accompanied by Italian wine.
