The Lost Stone Villas & Spa has joined The Unbound Collection by Hyatt in Tengchong, Yunnan Province of Southwest China, marking the second property under The Unbound Collection by Hyatt in Greater China. The resort, which features six types of natural stone in the property’s paths, walls and roofs, received its namesake as a result of the way it blends seamlessly into the nearby mountains, appearing lost in nature. Nestled at the foot of Yunfeng Mountain – meaning Cloud Peak – The Lost Stone is just over 25 kilometres from the border of Myanmar. The property features 50 free-standing garden villas, laid out across the ‘Ever Young’ valley and interspersed with luxurious flowering gardens that offer views of the Cloudy Peak Mountain.Starting at 146 square metres, the villas feature a separate bedroom, marble bathroom, living and dining spaces, a kitchen, plus an in-villa spa treatment room. Each villa also has a private outdoor courtyard and lounging garden planted with colourful, 100-year-old rhododendron flowers. A hot spring pool carved from a single block of granite offers guests the perfect spot to enjoy the mountain’s high-grade spring water. Honouring Yunfeng Mountain’s Taoist culture, the all-villa resort created Tao Spa, a relaxing site that provides therapeutic hot spring and spa experiences designed to enhance the harmony between nature and human beings.
