The latest addition to Abercrombie & Kent‘s growing portfolio of hosted small group journeys is a two week adventure to Ethiopia. Escorted by A&K’s leading Africa expert, Patrick Clementson, the group will uncover this mysterious and incredibly diverse country from the rich history, culture and landscapes of the north to the extraordinary tribal heritage in the south. Highlights include exploring the source of the Blue Nile, the 3.2 million year old skeleton of ‘Lucy’ and a night in the Simien Mountains. Observe rare wildlife amidst high peaks, visit extraordinary rock-hewn churches and engage with an incredible number of different ethnic groups in and around the Omo Valley. You’ll explore tribal villages, learn about local customs and wander through bustling markets. Though accommodation and food is basic in Ethiopia, there is much to see and experience and guests are encouraged to pack a sense of adventure. Tour dates: 17 – 31 May 2016 Twin share per person: $8,995 Single supplement: $1,430 Maximum: 24 guests. 2015-HostedJourney-Ethiopia-iS 2015-HostedJourney-Ethiopia-iS-3 2015-HostedJourney-Ethiopia-iS-4
