Starboard Cruise Services has named Stacy Shaw as the head of its newly formed Luxury Division. Shaw’s career spans the luxury, premium and contemporary segments of hotel and cruise with experience in startups, small boutique companies, and global industry-leading vacation and lifestyle brands. Her cruise experience includes 11 years at Royal Caribbean Cruises and two at Carnival Cruise Lines. Most recently, Shaw was Vice President of Sales & Business Development at Virgin Voyages, a position she held for two years. At Starboard Cruise Services, Shaw will oversea the company’s portfolio of luxury cruise line brands, which includes Crystal, Silversea, Norwegian Cruise Line and Dream Cruises.
She will be tasked with new business development efforts in the luxury cruise segment to identify potential partners in land-based luxury travel “who are seeking highly curated retail experiences,” the company said. On LinkedIn, Shaw said she was thrilled to take on her next challenge. “I am thrilled to be able to bring together the staggering portfolio of presitgious LVMH maisons and the extraordinary hospitality delivered by our select luxury cruise and resort partners to create the ultimate luxury travel experiences that can only be delivered through this powerful combination,” Shaw said.Want to be in the luxury travel know?
