APT has launched a marketing campaign to celebrate and thank the travel industry partners, staff, destinations and supporters that have contributed to making #APTtheBest. As well as a national consumer advertising campaign, APT’s ‘Best’ campaign also includes two new industry incentives which will run throughout September: one for travel agencies and one for consultants. Travel agencies will be granted an automatic entry into a special weekly draw for each and every APT booking made and deposited in September. Each weekly winner will receive a $1500 marketing voucher with APT. Meanwhile consultants are also invited to join the celebrations, with APT giving away a luxury all-inclusive Europe or Mekong river cruise every week to the winning entrant of a special photo competition. To enter, agents simply need to take a photo incorporating the campaign hashtag #APTtheBest and send it, along with an explanation as to why they think APT is the best (must be 25 words or less), to competitions@aptouring.com.au. Entries should include entrants’ contact details. Commenting on the campaign, APT Chief Marketing Officer, Debra Fox said, “We feel incredibly lucky to have the support of the Australian travel industry, suppliers, media partners and valued guests. As well as celebrating the success of all those who continually work so hard to support APT, the campaign and the industry incentives are our way of giving something back to travel agents. Of course we also intend to have a bit of fun in the process. We can’t wait to see the entries into the photo competition – we’re hoping the travel industry will wow us with their very ‘best’ entries.” The #APTtheBest incentive campaign and photo competition runs from 1-30 September 2015 inclusive.
