Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast, Australia, welcomed the arrival of two bespoke Rolls-Royce Phantom motor cars conceived to enrich its guests’ experience and made exclusively for the world’s first fully fashion-branded hotel. The Rolls-Royce Phantoms have been specially designed to reflect the surrounds of the Palazzo Versace Hotel. In creating the motor cars, the Rolls-Royce Bespoke Design Team worked hand in hand with Palazzo Versace Gold Coast to personalise “The Best Cars in the World” for this destination of the rich and famous.
“A Rolls-Royce Phantom is an embodiment of luxurious elegance, beauty and opulence, hallmarks of the Palazzo Versace. We want to offer our guests an experience beyond expectations to ensure their stay with us is a memorable one,” remarked Subash Basrur, General Manager, Palazzo Versace Gold Coast.
The Diamond Black exterior of the motor cars are highlighted with handpainted coach lines featuring the sign of Palazzo Versace Hotel. Moccasin-coloured leather is also complemented by logos on all four headrests, embroidered in Black satin stitching, in addition to a Gold inlay on the front passenger fascia, set against a Walnut Burr wood veneer. The final touch is 1340 fibre optic lamps handwoven into the Moccasin leather roof lining to give the impression of a starry night sky. “Embracing technology and blending it with the traditional skills of master craftsmen and -women allows us to create exceptional motor cars with a personality of their own. The Palazzo Versace Phantoms express the exuberance of the Versace philosophy and offer an exclusive opportunity, a sanctuary for indulgent escape, business or leisure for guests of Palazzo Versace Gold Coast,” explained Lars Klawitter, General Manager, Bespoke, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. “To drive and achieve progress in an ever-changing world we are in constant pursuit of perfection; our cars are testament to these endeavors. Our partnership with Palazzo Versace Gold Coast fits perfectly with these aspirations – offering the ultimate experience in super luxury travel. This collaboration continues the growing trend of the world’s finest hotels commissioning a fleet of Rolls-Royce motor cars to ensure guests receive the pinnacle experience during their stay,” commented Paul Harris, Regional Director, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Asia Pacific.
