Hyatt Hotels Corporation is preparing to launch its first Andaz-branded property in Indonesia and Southeast Asia in late 2020, with the long-awaited opening of Andaz Bali earmarked for 1 December 2020. Andaz Bali is located in the heart of the seaside village of Sanur with a modern Balinese village feel, according to the resort’s recently launched Facebook page.
The beachfront property, first flagged six years ago by Hyatt, will feature 127 rooms and suites and a further 22 Garden and Beach Villas styled in a contemporary Balinese design, and adorned with pieces from local artisan and craftsman, ranging in size from 50 square metres to 81 square metres. Room options will include views of the Indian Ocean. The 18 Garden Villas and four Beach Villas will come standard with a private pool and garden. There will be three outdoor pools spread across the resort and five restaurants onsite including The Fisherman’s Club, which will serve the catch of the day and other eateries at the Village Square dishing up Asian, Western and grilled cuisine, along with a deli.
Rates listed online for 1 December 2020 start at US$234 per night for a King Bedroom or US$734 in a One Bedroom Garden Villa. Bali will officially reopen its borders to international tourists from 11 September 2020 following COVID-19 travel restrictions. All photos and renderings featured are from the Andaz Bali website.
